For the fourth consecutive year, Cox Communications received the Forerunner Accolade honoring Cox as the best employer for women among all cable operators. The award was presented by the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Foundation, in collaboration with Working Mother Media. It’s part of the organizations’ 2006 PAR Initiative, which examined 40 leading cable operators and programmers on three main criteria relating to women in the companies’ workforces: pay equity, advancement opportunities, and resources for work/life support.
